Made on the basis of the original post-war production padded uniform jacket. Such uniforms were worn by the medical personel of the Red Army since 1943 till the end of the war. It was more comfortable than woolen private's shinel greatcoat. In Berlin battle it gained the utmost popularity. photo 2

Vietnam war "Vietkong" battle service jacket. ORIGINAL! 100% originalm, extremely rare item!
... Everybody knows, that in 1961 the Soviet and American interests met in Vietnam... An example is production of Vietnam tropic uniform for Communist troops in Soviet Union in 1962(as the button-reverse marking says). It was one of the elements of military material aid, as well as the weapons supply(out of the remaining since WW2). The jacket is produced of the original WW2 Soviet cotton military material and is a mixture of the tropical USSR gimnasterka and natural conditions of the Northern Vietnam. Such uniforms has not survived because of cruel battles. We have a few of these, we were lucky to purchase from the Cenral Military Storage of the Southern Military District of the former USSR...
